The 2019 Red Duke Trauma Symposium, hosted by Memorial Hermann Health System, will address controversies in trauma, emergency medicine and critical care. This two-day course is designed for prehospital care providers, nurses, advanced practitioners and physicians. Leading experts in acute care general surgery, emergency medicine, orthopedic traumatology and neurotrauma will highlight advances in the treatment of adult and pediatric patients with an array of traumatic injuries and the development of appropriate strategies for incorporating evidence-based protocols into clinical management. In addition to didactic lectures and case studies, participants will get hands-on training with multidisciplinary skills stations.
